HCG: Day 2
When I went to bed last night, I was starving hungry. I finally got to bed about 11:30 and I was more tired than typical at that time of night. I usually get to bed around 12:30 or 1am and get about 6 1/2 hours of sleep and feel great. Last night I was exhausted.
I slept about 8 hours and woke up feeling great. I wasn’t hungry. In fact, I didn’t even eat my breakfast (strawberries pictured at left) for over an hour.
I decided to take an appetite suppressant to see how that worked out. I have some the doctor gave me and I only took a half of one. I really wasn’t hungry until about 3pm or so. I had ended up eating lunch about an hour later than I planned and remembered about 3pm that I had an apple for a snack.
I would say the appetite suppressant worked just fine.
I assume that the effects of it have worn off and now, at 10pm, as I write this post, I am not really any more hungry than when I was eating a lot more than I do now. They say that one of the effects of this diet is that your appetite is naturally suppressed… they also say that can take a week or two.
I did come home from the office and was very tired. I took a small power name for about 20 minutes or so and got a second wind.
Breakfast – 59.4 calories
|
6.6 oz of strawberries (I put stevia on these tart strawberries and they tasted delicious)
Lunch – 190.35 calories
4.85 oz of chicken (grilled from the night before
10 oz of celery
Snack – 60 calories
4 oz of apple
Dinner –189 calories
4.85 oz of chicken (grilled)
13 oz of cucumber (way too much… I forced myself to finish what the kids didn’t while they were helping me eat it)
Total Calories for the day: 498.75
What is really hard for me is zero sugar. I love sugar drinks, sugar treats and sugar in everything. When I have been on other diets, I would drink Crystal Lite and eat sugar substitutes. I am now consuming nothing artificial. I am trying out some different drinks with stevia. As I find things I like, I’ll post them here.
