HCG: Day 22
Yesterday I tried to experiment with the diet by eating onions and tomatoes together.
Today I gained 1 pound.
That is just weird. How does one gain weight eating only 500 calories per day regardless of what makes up those calories.
I wonder if I am really retaining water or if eating the “mixed” veggies really made a difference.
So, today, I made two changes to my diet. First, I went back to my normal eating schedule (breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner) instead of eating my breakfast as a dessert. Second, I went back to eating one veggie per meal. I did end up 10 calories shy of my target.
I won’t know until tomorrow how it all worked out.

4 oz of apple
Lunch – 190 calories
4.5 oz of turkey
8 oz of tomato
Snack – 60 calories
4 oz of apple
Dinner –180 calories
4 oz of beef
2.5 oz of onion
