HCG: Day 49
Well, I have been off the injections for a little over a week and I am still losing weight.
At the left is a picture of Jenna and Ian. They are my two youngest. Ten days ago, I mentioned that I lost the equivalent weight of my 4 year old.
As of now, I have lost the equivalent of my 3 year old plus my 4 month old.
So, now, I have lost two kids :)
I have been slow in increasing my calories. Yesterday I only had about 630 calories. Today, I’ll end up with only about 660 calories.
I am increasing a little more slowly than recommended. I figure that I should take advantage of my body not being that hungry to lose as much weight as possible.
It seems that I’ll be done with this diet beyond my goal. I only have 12 pounds left to go. My goal for the 12 weeks (6 weeks on the HCG and 6 weeks of reintroduction) was to lose a total of 51 pounds.
I may actually hit that weight a little early.

I think that at this point I won’t continue to track all the calories I eat on a daily basis. It is too much of a pain, plus, it means that I can blog any time of the day.
Today, I won’t eat more than 660 calories. I am trying to increase by only 30 or 40 calories per day.
Last week I started riding my bike to the office a few times per week. It is only 4.4 miles each way (so, 8.8 miles each day). I figure if I do that 3 times per week, that is a total of 3 hours of exercising. I am sure that is helping me lose weight.
One thing that I have found is that my energy level is really high. I have as much, if not more, energy than I had when I was eating my full calorie compliment. I stayed late at the office yesterday and didn’t ride my bike home until almost 9pm (12 hours at the office) and Jen asked if I was exhausted… I wasn’t.
I must say, that I really love this diet.
I’ll post more of my reasons I love this in another post.
