The new me coming up

The new me coming up

Corey SmithSo, I haven't posted in some time. I saw some incredible succes on the HDG diet and have gained a few back... not a lot, but enough that tells me that I have been a little lazy.

I was working out four times per week and eating well... in fact, after I stopped the diet, I lost another three pounds...

But then I went on vacation.

It was a great vacation. We went camping and ate well. A little too well. It was a lot of fun but it completely messed me up. It changed my routines and it has been hard getting back to what I know is the right way to manage my weight.

I am determined to not let my bad habits rule my life again so I am starting the next phase of my physical transformation. Blogging last time helped me to see some great results so I figure I am going to do it again.

This time, my goals are a little more difficult to reach. Losing weight is relatively easy. For the most part, all I had to do was stop eating. Now, I want to increase muscle. I want to strenghten and tone up. I still have fat to lose, so I have more to accomplish.

The nice thing about starting a good workout routine now is that I have lost a significant amount of weight already. In the past, I always started working out when I was fat... well, fatter. Now, I at least I am at a good starting place.

I have solicited the help of Anytime Fitness to reach my goals. I will be working out with a trainer three times a week and attempting to work out on my own an additional three times a week. My goal is to see results fast, like I did previously.

While I won't blog everyday like I did last time, I want to chronicle this journey so I have a good record of how things are going. Hopefully you'll give me words of encouragement and help me on my path.

I wil be posting a vital stats section showing all my stats of pounds and inches. It should make it easier to keep up.

I hope you continue to follow me and let me know your thoughts.
